 | Dedication Ceremony: December 11, 2004
Today Digital Insight and Ecology CED volunteers met to dedicate the "Green" House. Presentations were giving by all organizations and the house keys were presented to Mary and her family. At the end of the ceremony, the "Green" House was renamed Mary Weaver's House! Thanks to all volunteers!

 | Build Day 14: December 4, 2004After the Thanksgiving Break, the "Green" House team gathered for their Final Workday before next week's Dedication Ceremony. Trim work and doors were worked on inside while the final siding and fascia were completed outside. RSVP for Dedication Ceremony.

Build Day 13: November 20, 2004
With only two more work days before the "Green" House's dedication ceremony, the College of Environment and Design and Digital Insight volunteers installed doors and floor board and primed all interior walls.

Build Day 12: November 13, 2004
Volunteers completed the installation of vinyl siding on the front and the rear of the house.
Interior doors and molding were primed and painted. The front and side decks were almost
completed and the driveway was prepped for concrete.

Build Day 11: November 6, 2004
Work on the exterior of the house continued this week. The vinyl siding installation is almost completed. The interior of the house
was prepped for dry wall installation. Volunteers can now count the remaining work days on one hand.

Build Day 10: October 30, 2004
The landscaping was cleaned up and grass was planted today. The roofing was completed while work on the front deck and vinyl siding continued. View the photos to see the updated progress of the house.

Build Day 9: October 23, 2004While the gloomy clouds kept their distance, the
majority of the shingles and vinyl siding was installed. Also, volunteers made the front deck look a little more welcoming by beginning the
installation of the Trex decking. View the photos to see our progress.

Build Day 8: October 16, 2004
Volunteers couldn't have asked for better autumn weather for the 8th build day. Members of Digital
Insight's Graphic Design and Project Manager team came out with the dedicated members of UGA's CED
to raise scaffolding and install siding.

Build Day 7: October 9, 2004
On the 7th work day of this project, we encountered our first day of rain. Volunteers covered all equipment and took shelter under the newly installed roof. Once the sun came out again, all the equipment was uncovered and it was business as usual.

Build Day 6: October 2, 2004
While the streets of Athens were filled with UGA and LSU fans, Digital Insight and UGA volunteers met to continue work on the "Green" House's roof.

Build Day 3: September 11, 2004
On a day known for great tragedy, volunteers met in the hot Georgia sun to show great humanity. By the end of the work day all interior walls were constructed and installed. In observance of 9/11, volunteers hung flags and wore Red, White, and Blue.
